Présenté comme un festival de musique classique, la programmation est aussi élargie à d'autres horizons : jazz, concerts d'orgue, chant méditerranéen et musiques électroniques mais aussi conférences, rencontres, émissions et magazines, master-classes...

From July 13th to July 26th 2014, the Radio France and Montpellier Languedoc-Roussillon Festival is offering an eclectic and daring musical programming with more than 200 events.
Originally presented as a classical music festival, it has consistently stood out from the crowd by expanding its offer to include all kinds of music: opera, symphony, jazz, electronic music and world music, as well as conferences, magazines and master-classes.
Each year, millions of people come together in Montpellier and its region to attend or listen to the 200 music events of the Radio France and Montpellier Languedoc Roussillon Classical Music Festival (France).
The 2014 edition will take place from July 13th to July 26th with 90% of entrance-free concerts and will join the WWI commemorations, and highlight the beauty of Mediterranean music and violins.
